Kick-start your accounting career and your journey to a CPA designation

Are there numbers in your future? This professional accounting program is tailored for students who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline except accounting, yet seek a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

You will gain vital knowledge and skills across all accounting fields, such as financial, management, audit and assurance, finance, and personal and corporate tax. You’ll also develop the computer tech and critical thinking skills necessary to excel in the practice of professional accounting.

Admission requirements

Applicants must be graduates of an Ontario degree program or equivalent.

OR

Applicants must possess an Ontario Diploma/Advanced Diploma or equivalent and eight years of relevant working experience. Applicants must submit a detailed summary of their work experience along with their application. The applicants seeking a pathway to CPA Certification after graduating from ACGC will be responsible for getting their work experience validated from CPA Ontario. Students who have undergraduate degrees from non-Canadian institutions with WES or similar equivalency will be considered.
