Build a career in the personal financial services sector 

Gain foundational business skills in your first year, then build on that groundwork to gain specialized knowledge in financial services industry regulations, credit and debt management, and financial analysis. You’ll explore registered retirement and education plans, government benefit plans, economics, investments, taxation, law, and insurance. Additionally, you’ll master the interpersonal skills needed to excel.

Admission requirements

For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including:

  • Any grade 12 English (C) or (U)
  • Any grade 11 mathematics (C), (U), or (M)

Specific program pathways

Advanced standing opportunities – degree programs

Graduates from this program (or equivalent) meeting a 2.5 GPA requirement are eligible for advanced standing in the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program and will receive direct entry into Year 2 of the program.  Students may also receive direct entry into Year 2 of the Bachelor of Business Administration program.

College or university degree opportunities  

If you are a graduate of this program, you may continue your studies at a college or university and you may receive credit(s) for your prior college education. Refer to Cambrian’s college and university agreement details for further information
