Nearly $2,000,000 in scholarships and bursaries!

All you need is a bit of time and an Internet connection to get access to more than 900 scholarships and bursaries with a combined value of more than $2,000,000.

Cambrian College and generous donors assist thousands of students annually through our awards program. A diverse range of awards are available to help you pay for college.

Receive up to $2,000 when you take one of Cambrian’s Business Administration degree programs!

Start your three- or four-year Bachelor of Business Administration program with a financial edge! Become a full-time student in semester 1 in September 2025 and you will automatically qualify for a $1,000 entrance scholarship. Maintain a grade point average of 75% and you could receive another $1,000 when you start semester 2!

Anmar Mechanical Indigenous Student Support Program

Available to Indigenous students entering your second or third year of study, or enrolled in a post-graduate program. Please note that this requires an interest in working within the mining and supply sectors upon graduation.

Charlotte Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Charlotte Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund is available annually to Canadian Indigenous students in your second year and above in nursing at an accredited college or university in Ontario. You are encouraged to make every effort to obtain accreditation as a Registered Nurse in Ontario within a reasonable time following graduation and to practice nursing in an Indigenous community.

Schulich Builders scholarships

Cambrian College is proud to partner with the Schulich Foundation to award Schulich Builders scholarships to students enrolling in eligible full-time skilled trades certificate and diploma programs.

Additional awards

In addition to the awards offered through Cambrian College, awards from various external sources are posted on our website throughout the academic year.

Be sure to search our awards database to review all of the available awards. External awards will include details on how to apply, as they have deadlines and application procedures that are different from internal awards and will not be available through your myCambrian account.

How to apply for awards

Once you become a registered student, all Cambrian College scholarship and bursary applications can be found in your myCambrian account in the “Financing My Education” section on your ‘Student’ tab.

Step 1 – Complete a survey

Log in to your myCambrian account and click on create a survey. It is important that you finish all steps in the survey, including the final step of submission. The submission will pre-determine and list the awards you are eligible to apply for. Once you have submitted your survey, you will see this list within 24 hours. Be sure to check your account on a regular basis for new scholarships and bursaries posted to myCambrian that you may be eligible for, as new awards are continually being introduced. Step 2 – Check your eligibility

Once you have completed the survey, the system will use your application to determine which awards you are eligible to apply for. The guide below will outline how to check which awards you are eligible for after completing the survey.

Step 3 – Submit/view additional requirements

Some awards require additional requirements such as a reference letter, essay, volunteer hours, etc. This guide below will outline how to view and submit additional requirements for specific awards.

Step 4 – Request a faculty reference

Some scholarships and bursaries require a faculty reference form. You can request a reference from your professors from a click of a button. This guide will outline how to request a faculty reference form.

Step 5 – Track your award status

There are multiple closing dates for awards. The awards committee meets after the award deadline date to select the candidates. If you are a successful candidate, you will be notified by email.
